We’ve been serving the Ottawa area with dance classes since 2014. That’s a whole decade and we think that is something to celebrate!
The anniversary party will take place starting at 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Saturday June 22, at Persis Grill (Little Italy location), 345 Preston street, Ottawa, ON
This dinner-dance hafla is open to everyone. We want to celebrate with everybody!
There will be performances from professional Bellydancers and student showcases, a chance to win door prizes, a bazaar table (guests are welcome to bring a couple of items to sell on the table), open floor for dancing, Persian food, friends, fond memories, and tons of fun!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ve had to change the venue for our event (the bonus is that this is also a more central location, halfway between Kanata and Orleans, so we’re splitting the difference on travel time for our two class locations).

The restaurant is kindly foregoing their usual Saturday evening dinner reservations to accommodate our private party, so everyone is asked to please order something from the menu. There will be a lovely variety of appetizers and main meals that will suit different dietary and budgetary needs (and also a bar for those who need a little liquid courage before getting on the dance floor).

PLEASE use caution if you are thinking about buying a ticket from someone who says they bought a ticket but can no longer go. We have had some scammers post on Facebook that they are re-selling tickets.
DUNIYA STUDIO HAS A LIST OF ALL NAMES OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BOUGHT TICKETS. If you are considering buying a re-sold ticket, please check with us first to make sure it is a real ticket. We can re-assign tickets in our ticketing system, so you should involve us if you are considering buying a ticket from someone else.
Legit tickets each have a unique bar code that we will scan at the door. Please don’t be caught by scammers. It is so sad that a small community event has to issue a caution for this.
